Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the audio plugins and related software, content, and websites (the "Products") offered by Ghost Audio, a product of Monarch Digital Holdings ("Ghost Audio," "we," "us"). By purchasing or using our Products, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purchases and acceptance
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, billing, and applicable taxes, and their terms also apply at checkout. Completing a purchase through Lemon Squeezy constitutes your acceptance of these Terms. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
2. License
When you buy a Product, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to install and use the plugin for your own music and audio production, whether personal or commercial.
- Install everywhere you work. If you purchased as an individual, you may install and use the plugin on any computer you need to use it on, provided you remove it before selling or transferring the machine. If you purchased as a company or institution, you may use it on as many machines as a single user will use, or on a single machine shared by multiple users.
- Re-download forever. You may re-download your purchased plugins as many times as necessary.
- One purchase, every format. A purchase covers all formats we ship for that plugin (currently AU and VST3 on macOS; future formats and platforms included when released).
- Transferable. You may transfer your license to another person by contacting support@ghostaudio.co to initiate the transfer, so the new owner receives the updates and support attached to the license. After a transfer, you must remove all copies from your machines and stop using the software.
- You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, or share the installer, license key, or files, or distribute the software as part of another software product, without our written permission.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or DSP, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
- We may issue updates, but we are not obligated to maintain compatibility with every future operating system or host.
3. Demo versions
We offer free demo versions of our paid plugins. Demos are the full product and stop working 10 days after first launch. Demos are for evaluation only and may not be used to circumvent purchase, including by reinstalling to reset the evaluation period. Because full demos let you evaluate everything before buying, all purchases are final (see Section 6).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse our Products or website: no unlawful use, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems, and no using our Products to infringe others' rights. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms or the license restrictions above.
5. Delivery and system requirements
Products are delivered as digital downloads after checkout. They are currently provided in AU and VST3 formats for macOS only (Windows support is planned). It is your responsibility to confirm your system meets the stated requirements before purchasing.
6. Refunds and chargebacks
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Free 10-day demos of our paid plugins let you fully evaluate before buying, so all sales are final; refunds are issued only for non-delivery, duplicate charges, or defects we cannot fix. Please email support@ghostaudio.co before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Filing a chargeback after a refund has been issued, or for a purchase you continue to use, may result in cancellation of your license. Payment disputes are handled through our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy.
7. Intellectual property
All Products, branding, audio, and website content are owned by Ghost Audio / Monarch Digital Holdings or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Other product and company names mentioned on our site are trademarks of their respective owners and are referenced only for comparison.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ghost Audio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, projects, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Product. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Products after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Before filing, you agree to first contact support@ghostaudio.co to try to resolve the matter informally.
