A haunted instrument, not another insert. Seance Box is a synth you play — its voice is a vowel-morphing wavetable choir, two oscillators per note that slowly re-shape their vowel like a room full of voices holding one breath. Drop it on an instrument track, touch a key, and hold hands with whatever answers: pads that hover, leads that keen, drones that settle into the floorboards.
Effects need something to process. An instrument only needs you. At Seance Box's core is a vowel-morphing wavetable choir: two oscillators per voice that drift across a set of vowel shapes — dust, bell, ahh, ooh, mmm, ember — so the tone is always slowly re-shaping its mouth. That choir runs into a driven ladder filter, lo-fi degrade, chorus and a dark reverb: the bell-jar seance sound the rest of the Ghost Audio family orbits, things that hover, moan, bloom and refuse to fully leave the room.
The voice is a choir of wavetables that slide across vowel shapes as they sustain, breathing between dust, bell and open vowels so a held note never sits still. Vocal, hollow, a little unearthly, and completely playable — the soul of the instrument.
Seance Box loads on an instrument track and speaks MIDI like any synth — your keyboard, your pads, your piano roll. Play it live, sequence it, hold one deep note for four bars. No sidechain, no input signal, no routing homework.
Three jobs, one box. Pads that sit under a mix like fog on a floor, leads with that keening vocal cry up top, and drones that hold a room down for as long as you keep the key pressed.
It shares blood with Murmur's bell jar and Tiny Ghost's haunted tail — the Ghost Audio sound, but generated at the source instead of applied after. If our effects are the haunting, this is the ghost itself.
AU instrument + VST3 — make an instrument track, load it, play. If your DAW hosts software instruments, it hosts this one.

Seance Box is $49.99, one time, yours forever. Or take the whole Ghost Audio catalog for $149.99 ($100 while we're in launch). No subscriptions, no fake sales.
An instrument. Seance Box doesn't process audio on a channel — it makes its own. Create an instrument track, load Seance Box like you'd load any synth, and play it over MIDI from your keyboard or piano roll.
Any DAW that hosts AU or VST3 instruments: Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig, GarageBand, and more. Not Pro Tools: Pro Tools only loads AAX plugins, and we do not make an AAX build.
Pads, leads and drones with a bell-jar seance character. The vowel-morphing wavetable choir at its core means the box sings on its own — vocal, hollow tones that work as much as an atmosphere as an instrument.
Yes — at launch, every paid pedal gets a free 10-day demo that's the full plugin, not a crippled teaser. Join the list below and you'll get it first.
No dongles, no always-online check. Install it on any computer you work on.
Try the free 10-day demo first — it's the full instrument, so you can hear exactly what you're buying. All sales are final after that, and if something's ever broken on our end, we'll make it right.
Launch news, the trial build, and one preset bank we're not selling. No spam — we make plugins, not newsletters.
